· Negotiated $17.7m in tax free Industrial Development Bonds (IDB) for new plant and existing plant addition with a fifteen year fixed rate of 4.6 percent
· Contributed to the management team that consistently grew the top line by ten percent per year and the bottom line by twenty percent
· Implemented SOX testing and monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and prepare quarterly certifications
· Created and Implemented Microsoft Office SharePoint Services to build a financial, sales and operations reporting intranet

2004-2006 CFO Consultant
Work with several clients including Shumate Mechanical, Quality Sheet Metal, Falcon Land Development, QuintEvents, CSX, and the NFL/Jacksonville Jaguars for Super Bowl XXXIX.
· Implemented a $1m Microsoft ERP system for Shumate Mechanical, an Atlanta based HVAC company with 500+ employees
· Assisted with acquisition of Quality Sheet Metal, oversaw the earn out calculation, and implemented accounting function and systems
· Identified properties for 500+ unit apartment complexes for Falcon Land
· Implemented record keeping systems for QuintEvents
· Worked as a member of a team to implement and test CSX for SOX compliance
· Maintained all transaction accounting for Super Bowl XXXIX, and worked with the team that generated $18m in profits over eighteen months to pay for the required improvements for the stadium.
2000-2004 CFO Balfour Beatty Rail
Responsible for the financial oversight of the US rail systems construction, engineering and maintenance divisions of a $5B publicly traded UK owned engineering and infrastructure contractor. Responsibilities included accounting, financial and management reporting, tax compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and ERP.

· Re-engineered the accounting system to streamline processes and account structure reducing department head count from twenty to ten people
· Repaired the Job Cost system to create reporting to manage jobs
